SmartShow Manufacturer’s Warranty

SmartShow UK Ltd offers a two-year limited manufacturer’s warranty on all products manufactured after April 3rd 2023. The warranty covers any manufacturing fault or defective component that has occurred within the recommended usage of the product, as described in the user documentation provided. However, if damage to the product occurred due to events such as, but not exclusive to, a customer’s avoidable misuse, user actions that do not comply with the instructions in the user documentation, over-voltage if the product has been disassembled, defaced, altered, subjected to abuse, an error that the customer should have reasonably been able to avoid, fire, water, corrosion or lightning, then the warranty will be voided.

This warranty shall also be voided if an unauthorised repair is attempted (successfully or otherwise)

This warranty does not cover any financial losses that may result from a faulty product or any such case as mentioned above, nor does it cover any costs for collection, removal or reinstallation of a defective product or damage to any other product that is connected to it.

Product warranty will only be covered for the original purchaser of the product. Used or second-hand products will not automatically have a warranty transferred to the second party or subsequent product owner.

Returning Used Product for Warranty Claim

Please get in touch with for an RMA number before proceeding to return any goods. We will send you an RMA returns form that must be filled in and returned with the returned products. All returns must be sent with all original components supplied by the product. This includes mounting plates and connectors; if possible, return them in their original packaging.

If we have been notified of a warranty claim within 30 days of the original purchase despatch date, SmartShow UK Ltd will pay for returns via their chosen courier/postal provider. After 30 days, the cost for any returns will be at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable. All returned warranty claims will be assessed within 30 days of receipt, and a decision made as to whether the claim is valid or not and if any repair is economical/worthwhile. Any product claim that falls within our warranty limits will be repaired or replaced depending on assessment and returned to the customer at our expense using a shipping method of our choice.

If a product is returned for a claim and the customer does not reply to any form of contact (email or phone) for a period of one month, then the product will be returned.
In all cases, we will try our best to resolve any issue as swiftly as possible.

Returning Unused Product

New & unopened products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund for the cost of the products only. The customer shall pay their own shipping cost, which will not be refunded. Refunds will only be given once the returned product is received and checked. Refunds can only be paid back to the original payment source.

Product Repairs Outside of Warranty

If the two-year warranty has expired, or you require a repair of a product known to have been damaged outside of the limits of the warranty, then please apply for an RMA number stating that a paid repair is required. All repairs are charged at a standard rate of £65 per hour for labour, component costs, and VAT.
