“VIBE kits are a complete light show in a bag, ready to plug and go !”

This feature-rich, versatile system is perfect for live bands, DJs, parties, home bars, theatre lighting practicals or props, photography lighting, or even just as background lighting for events like exhibition galleries or tradeshows. The VIBE system has a mode for every occasion.

Live music is closely tracked using our Dynamic Music Tracking (DMT) algorithm, and the synchronised data is shared with all the VIBE tubes in the system.

VIBE tubes are incredibly lightweight.

Everything in a VIBE-200 kit fits neatly into a 1200mm soft padded bag.

“VIBE systems are not just for professionals, they are for everyone !”

Many other available pixel tube systems are supplied as a frosted/opalised tube only, and serve very well as ‘Eye Candy’ for people to look directly at. However, if you require Pixel tubes that project 100% of their light in the direction you want it (onto a stage or at a person for example), then go CLEAR.

Opalising/Frosting sacrifices some of the light power to give a smoother look to the tube; we have solved this issue by offering “Glare-Soft” tape for all tubes. This tape is easy to fit and remove if needed, and is supplied on rolls from our accessories page.

“Opalised or Clear, the VIBE wins either way”

All of our VIBE tubes incorporate “dual-aspect pixels”, meaning that not only do the left and right Pixel lines work independently, they also exclusively shine to the left or the right, giving the best command of light zones & colour separation, a feature not found in any other pixel tube on the market.

The VIBE system is fully expandable at any time, and any VIBE tube size can be used within the system and work seamlessly, with perfect synchronicity

  • 8 modes of operation :

Master: Audio. Setting to this mode will allow the VIBE Tube to monitor audio levels, peaks, silence and music BPM and use its DMT ( Dynamic Music Tracking) algorithm to decide what program (pattern generation) and colour palette it should use. The VIBE Master will also transmit information to all other VIBE Slave tubes that are paired with it so they will all respond at the same time.

Slave: Setting to this mode will allow the device to listen to the VIBE Master it is paired with, for information about what it should be doing regarding patterns, colours etc. The VIBE Master it is paired with can be in a variety of Modes (Master: Audio, Mas: WiFi-DMX, Master: RGBW, Master: HSI, Master: CCT, or Master: Demo). The VIBE Slave will respond to what the VIBE Master is doing.

WiFi: Pixels. Setting to this mode will allow you to link the VIBE Tube to a Wi-Fi router and pass ‘pixel’ data to the VIBE Tubes IP via the Wi-Fi network. The Pixel data will normally come from pixel mapping applications like Madrix, Mad-Mapper, Resolume, ELM, etc. You can have many VIBE Tubes set to this mode and present on the same network, listening to the same Pixel Mapping application. If you have multiple tubes that need to join the same network, you will only need to set one and the others will follow automatically.

Mas: WiFi-DMX. You would normally only have one VIBE Tube set to this mode, where you can link it to a Wi-Fi router, and pass a few channels of control data to the device, which will, in turn will select the VIBE Master’s program number, palette, etc. The VIBE Master will be waiting for either an audio bass beat or a particular DMX channel transition to trigger the effect. All VIBE Slaves that are linked to this VIBE Master will respond to what the Master is doing.

Master: RGBW. Setting to this mode will allow you to set a precise colour using Red, Green, Blue and White controls. All VIBE Slaves that are linked to this VIBE Master will respond to what the Master is doing.

Master: HSI. Setting to this mode will allow you to set a precise colour using Hue, Saturation and Intensity (brightness) controls. All VIBE Slaves that are linked to this VIBE Master will respond to what the Master is doing.

Master: CCT. Setting to this mode will allow you to set a precise colour temperature using Temperature and Intensity (brightness) controls. All VIBE Slaves that are linked to this VIBE Master will respond to what the Master is doing.

Master: Demo. Setting to this mode will randomly go through pattern programs, advancing after a while. The speed/BPM can be varied using navigation controls, also programs can be manually advanced using the navigation controls. All VIBE Slaves that are linked to this VIBE Master will respond to what the Master is doing.

  • Easy linking of VIBE Tubes to Wi-Fi router (only required in WiFi: Pixels mode)
  • Easy Pairing of VIBE Slaves to a VIBE Master

Display Menu

  • The OLED display has been carefully mapped to allow a clean operating menu
  • The device mode is readily viewable, and any changes are updated instantly
  • The display menu is operated by the 4-way navigation joystick situated at the top end of the tube, with up/down/left/right/enter actions
  • Depending on the Device Mode, the menus will become context sensitive to ensure a clean menu structure
  • The display will go dim after 20 seconds with no navigation actions, and after 3 minutes with no navigation actions, the display will go off completely. Any navigation action will restore the display to full brightness

Connectors & Power

  • 5mm x 2.5mm female barrel power socket :
For connection to a PSU-5V-4A power supply (which comes as part of the kit)
This is the recommended power connection
  • USB-C connection :
    Firmware upgrades
We do not recommend connecting the VIBE-200 to USB power banks

Mounting Hardware

  • Each VIBE-200 comes with a TUBE-HC-Base – this allows the VIBE-200 to be mounted at floor level, or flush against a wall, but also has a ¼” UNC20 thread/stud if the tube needs to be hung or mounted on a similarly threaded system.

Other mounting options are:

TUBE-Grip: This converts any ¼” UNC20 thread to a grip that holds the tube at any rotational angle along its length.
TUBE-Grip-DIN: This clips to a 35mm DIN rail and grips the tube at any rotational angle along its length.
